Not only is this update overdue, but its the only one of Apple's own iPhone apps to even be touched for iOS4 or the iPhone 4.

None of the Apps have been updated to a universal version with iPad support.

Oh, but Find my iPhone was critically important to have out on launch...:confused:


It's embarrassing.

I mean, what kind of example does this set for other devs? Apple expects their developers of technically completed products (apps) to be updated asap to support all of the latest features of the latest devices. Yet they themselves have half a dozen critical apps that haven't even been touched?

abriwinApr 7, 04:19 AMI heartily agree, I even paid for a Pixmania card to get discounts and better service. It doesn't work, the discounts are only applied to special items.
As to service, what service? I bought a Nikon Coolpix that had a screen that failed after only 10 days. By the time I had an authorisation to return the item, not in my country but to their office in France, by the time they had sent it to Nikon to confirm there was a problem with the camera and eventually got a refund it took over three months! That was three months of complaining, writing to head office, what aggravation!

Pixmania gets my thumbs down, terrible service.

bellis1Nov 3, 07:29 AMI bought the icekey after making a switch from a powerbook 17" to G5 imac. It is a very nice keyboard to type on especially if you are used to using a powerbook. I tried the apple keyboard for about 5 minutes before it got put back into the box. Anyone want it for cheap?

So far I have had one fail between 8 and 14 months old since they launched , and it's sat on a low shelf in an open to air on all sides unit PSU failure every time, capacitors burst.

They are very very poor design from a heat dissipation standpoint . I'd prefer a next gen one to go with a MagSafe replaceable PSU

lokerdMar 6, 06:27 AMI finally updated to 4.2.1 and what a disappointment. I can no longer use my sd card connection kit. Says there is not enough power. I would not have updated if I knew this. Is there anyway around this? Software in Cydia possibly?

Ditto here, except that I knew it was going to happen. Very frustrating.

I have just been hoping there would be a fix soon.

elVinceMay 6, 04:26 AMI dont think ill have a problem with the wires, myself personally, but in terms of designs i thought that it is comparable because of how the coolmaster isnt confined and it allows more air flow under the mbp. I've read stuff about how you can cool down a mbp even by raising it a half inch propped up against an eraser or something, so maybe thats where the coolmaster excels and because of the price difference, it really just basically comes down to which one does the job of cooling it down better.

I'm an audio technica kind of guy, so I tend to stick to their products. I know the lower impedance audio techncia cans sound pretty good on my brother's macbook pro and my iMac via their intel hd integrated card and headphone jack.Well, thanks for the posts. I am a bit surprised how quiet this subform seems to be, I was hoping for a wider range of opinions. Or, do I just need a shower?

More RAM + faster harddrive is about all you can do.
