At our school they recently started checking out iPads to student, so I decided to check one out for a week. it sucks, because they have everything blocked, so I put a couple games from the Internet on the home screen. Well after I did that I realized I couldn't delete them, and I realized in the contract they made me sign, it threatened if you put any type of games on it to make you buy a new one. I was wondering if there is anyway around this without changing anything like the software.

I have a few friends that have had issues with their 2009 MacBook plastic cracking as well. So I think they may head into apple and see what they can do.

cocacolakidApr 25, 10:05 PMThe next Mac Mini will probably have i3 Sandy Bridge CPU's, however, the lower end i3 SB CPU's have Intel HD 2000 integrated graphics, which are inferior to the current NVidia 320M GPU on the Mac Mini. Only the higher end SB CPU's have Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics, which most reviews say is about the same as the 320M, but I can't see Apple putting the most expensive i5 or i7 CPU in the Mini.

So the next Mini might have a faster CPU but inferior graphics, which they've done before when they dropped the Radeon GPU in the early Mini's and went to an integrated Intel GPU.

My question is can anyone recommend a better camera in the 7 MP range that might be a better camera? The most I would spend is $400. and should I get a camera that can support RAW images, because this W7 one does JPG and not RAW.

I would walk away from this unit and keep looking ... saving a few bucks by paying lots of money up-front could end bad for you.

being so far away ... maybe a reputable rental agent who works for an established RealEstate company is your best bet.

You do not want to show up on moving day and find out that you have nowhere to stay and now be in Manhattan.

profetsFeb 23, 10:13 AM^Awesome to hear, thanks for the update. It seems like an SSD is a no-brainer if one wants to do an upgrade. I've used a few SSDs in netbooks and some PCs and the difference always amazes me.

Planning on picking up a Mini at some point and putting an SSD.. looks like its quite the process. Wish it was easier to do in an iMac as well.

It used to hang over my head every day back in 1998 when I was selling macs at a compusa. I always felt like he was watching me and encouraging me to introduce people to Macs (mostly iMacs) for the first time. One day I was asked to take down Edison, Buzz, Ghandi and Hitchcock and put them in the trash compactor out back. Naturally, I said to hell with that idea and snuck them to my car. How could any Mac fan ever be expected to destroy anything so beautiful. Well, I got caught with them, but the manager let me keep Buzz and Edison and he took the other two. Now I put Edison on ebay and I'm already regretting it. Did I do the right thing?

But when I got home my trusted mac also requested to log in again.
