A see through church

Two architects from Belgium, Pieterjan Gijs and Arnout Van Vaerenbergh, came up with a unique idea and designed a "see through" church.

It is built with horizontal plaques, allowing for the sun to enter easily. I'm not sure if this will be used during the winter period, but a spiritual symbolism is evident in this architectural style.
